PROGRAM OVERVIEW
CPRC is a one-year certificate program composed of approximately 40-44 hours of virtual didactic and interactive activities focused on research methodology and research regulatory standards. The program is specifically designed for individuals with an interest in developing their clinical research career with aspirations of obtaining research funding.
At the end of this educational program, learners will be able to:

Describe principles research methodology including study design, epidemiology, statistics

Apply principles of research methodology to their proposed research projects and to review of medical literature

Describe and follow IRB, VA IRB and common rule regulations that apply to conduct of safe and ethical research

Identify VA and non-VA resources that are available to conduct research

Identify qualities of a high-quality research mentors and research collaborations
